Valerio is the heir and son of an Alvise Pisani, both of whom belong to a old Venetian patrician family with a good deal of money. Essentially they are take from this brief Wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pisani_family. They are high-born, wealthy and with good reputations, the perfect hosts for a Russian Prince. Currently they are leasing one of their grand palaces to the Imperial Russian Court, where my character Nicholas is currently residing.

At this stage Valerio and his father have been used as NPCs to make my life easier but it occurred to me it would be great to have Valerio in play. Valerio is confident, charming and enthusiastic, the sort of man who is eager to show a foreign Prince his city. He likely loves his city and is very fond of show off the various features to Nicholas, who may be a little reluctant.
