Hya peeps! Let me introduce you to my first character, Giancarlo. Boy, are you in for a treat! Giancarlo is a Roman count who basically wanted to amount to something worthwhile to dazzle his parents - they just assumed their first two children were enough to secure the family's glory and so weren't very interested what Giancarlo was up to growing up. He is a holier-than-thou type of person, turning to the church for comfort at a young age. He's just arriving in Venice in tow of a new papal legate coming to strengthen the ties of Rome with the merchant republic.

What's needed:

A Host - Being a count serving at the pleasure of the Holy See, Giancarlo wouldn't travel anywhere without the Papal States officials making sure his comfort has been secured way before he arrived at his destination. As a result, the Venetian nobles would be requested (rather, politely told) to billet the papal delegation to their own homes, at least until the Papacy could provide its delegation with appropriate accommodation in the city.
