Their relationship had been up and down... good and, well, not bad, but things like testing one another to see their limits... challenging limits seemed to be in this phase of their relationship... but all in all, they deserved one another... the wanted one another... and when apart, seemed to have a void that would be unfillable.

And Sasha did not wish to hoard her time... but there was a void that the Dragon could not fill without his Gems... and he hated that feeling. They had slain the social pariah together... and even evolved their social life together... they attended large balls, small social get-togethers, and huge social galas... they attended weddings of social acquaintances, holiday celebrations with friends, and even private time alone.

And they even survived a day in the rain... cold and naked as Adam and Eve... a picnic turned special moment at a rickety old set of walls, they teased as their secluded palazzo.

And they were new partners in breeding horses... irregardless whether it was a true business relationship, or an excuse to partner in an endeavor. Sasha loved being around Biatta...

And now they were scheduled to go to France, despite the ebbing of monarchy toward revolution. And he would not allow her to go to the boiling pot alone... Good excuse huh?
